Introducing... Muddyloop!
Originally the production duo of Metro Williams and Blonde Peterson but now a fully formed four piece band, consisting of additional singers Lucy Lawrence & Marvin Ambrosius.
This London based power-house deliver their stunning debut EP, consisting of five slamming nostalgic jams that truly show-off Muddyloop's dynamic creativity, and just a very small insight into what's to come!
Title track "Back Together" is first-up, and from the off you get a clear picture of Muddyloop's vision of slick 'n snappy radio friendly production, as lead singer Marvin Ambrosius delicately flows over this timeless Electro Pop groove.
Next up is "If This Isn't Love", boasting the gutsy Lucy Lawrence on lead vocals. This uptempo number really shows-off Muddyloop's instant dancefloor appeal, in what can only be described as an addictive slice of instantly memorable 80s inspired Nu-Disco.
Half way through the EP and producers Metro & Blonde slow the bpm right down and hit hard with "Sentimental", as singer Marvin Ambrosius steps up the m.i.c once more and woos us into a pillow of sensual synth-tastic Neo Soul.
Track four, "In The Morning" is anthemic from the off, as the sultry intro keys lure you into a captivating uptempo shuffler, that leans more towards 90s 2-Step Garage than contemporary Pop. Either way, we're sure that this one will have you singing from the rafters, as Lucy Lawrence delivers yet another flawless vocal performance.
And signing off we have "Dangerzone", a dual lead vocal affair of hidden emotions, as this heart wrenching ballad makes it a home-run for the four piece crew that live, breath, eat and sleep quality dance music.
So there you have it, Muddyloop are quite literally 'Back Together', and with new singers Lucy & Marvin and producers Metro & Blonde at the controls... you simply can't go wrong!
