Bianchi is one of the busiest people working in electronic music in Spain right now. The italian author has moved to Madrid a while ago, and has since been a key player in the underground scene - particularly in the deeper end of the spectrum.
Sandro's accolades include hosting three different radio shows, having a fully booked dj schedule, and being a very prolific composer and producer, with tons of unreleased material in the drawer. Despite his hectic life and impressive collaboration record (having released on Sonar Kollektiv, Whiskey Disco, Logical and many others), 'Lemon & Lime' still managed to find it's ways to the Blossom Kollektiv headquarters in all it's impressive form.
'Lemon' boasts a clear jackin' trend, as you would expect from the likes of Derrick Carter, Gene Farris or Iz & Diz. Hints of vocal funk get spliced over really heavy beats as a slower groove pounds away, a citric acid line underpins the whole thing and brings the Chicago vibe to it's full force. It's sure fire club power.
'Lime' gets busy pretty quickly with more sweet and sour bass lines, eery pads and sloppy roland beats, the old school tribute is very evident as it sounds like something out of the Phuture cook book, adapted to 2014 production standards.
Lemon and Lime are two slightly different flavours of that classic vibe. Blossom brings a pair of bangers... Sandrobianchi is the name to go with it. Get jackin'!
