Jose Burgos , one of House music's most talented producers has his chance to shine. An entrepreneur in the ingenuity of music, Jose Burgos is a Record Producer, House Music DJ and Independent label owner who is globally recognized for his releases in his illustrious portfolio. A portfolio that consists of well known compilations such as: “Home” featuring Julie McKnight, “Believe in Love” featuring Michelle Weeks, “The Committee”, “Scream & Shout”, on subliminal records “Don’t Stop”, on Defected Records, “Come Into My Room”, “Tracy In My Room”, and “You’ve Been On My Mind” featuring D’Layna, also on Defected Records. Jose’s career took shape in 1983 where he began DJing at local clubs in New York and New Jersey. As a DJ Jose has style combination of classics, jazz, soul, underground house and funk. Led to the beginning of his inner most skills. This has led h im to perform at popular hot spots at the time as Centro-Fly, Filter 14, Legends, Recess, and 222 Lounge, all in NYC and Oxa Club and D Club in Switzerland. Jose also played at the “Sundance Festival” in Tallin and Estonia, where he played for over 8,000 viewers. Later, through friends and opportunity Jose was exposed to production and remixing. While sitting a studio session he discovered a unique sound from a blend of talent along with partners. As a respected talent in the industry, Jose continues to blaze a trail for new and upcoming producers. He works with some of the industries top artists and produces cultivating musical gems for some of the worlds best underground dance labels. From working in the studio with Duce Martinez, Sandy Rivera, Duron Tarik, Jose has produced some amazing tracks that have led him through great experiences and have created an image for his music and sound. through a P&D deal with Mo-Hop Records, owned by Eddie Maduro, Jose is part owner of Bassclef Records Inc. He put out such records as “Over & Over and Saxxy Lady”. In 1996, Bassclef Records became and independent record label under Jose Burgos. Later, Bassclef Records ventured out with new sub-division labels, such as Pioze Music, with production done by legendary DJ/Producer Hippie Torrales. The record label reached its heights overseas with releases like "Believe In Love",“The Path, Sunday Love, and “Don't Stop". As a producer and remixer, Jose Burgos has worked for a variety of other artists, including Dawn Tallman, CasioWare, Sabrina Pope, Jazmina, Kenny Bobien, SuSu Bobien, Kamara Lovelace, Michelle Weeks and Stephanie Cooke As co producer he has formed some hits such as “The Path, “We Can Make it” on Relativity Records , Take a Stand for Love”, and Bring it Back to Love featuring Theo Gerrideau on Fruit Tree Records. Jose has worked under a variety of alias including Kings of Tomorrow, Soul Vision, La Cultura and Soul Creation. Either alone or with partners one of Jose’s best known track is “Finally” released in 2000 as Kings of Tomorrow on Defected Records, with vocals by Julie McKnight. These tracks put Jose on the map as a bonafied producer and artist in the music industry in the U.S. and Overseas. Currently, Jose seeks to continue to make his name a house hold name in production, remixing and DJing.
