Distortion Inc. is a long time veteran here at DeepWit, his first appearance coming in the first year of the label and followed by his track "Hard Lovin'" featured exclusively on our limited edition "DeepWit Collections" CD. This Chicago native has appeared on labels like Bedrock Records, Connaisseur Recordings and Electric Sheep Recordings, including many others as well as our sub label DeepWit Uncovered. This hauntingly smooth and touching lullaby "Autumn Saturday" is a daydreaming electronica affair meant to transport you away to another time. The first remix comes from Tony S, another veteran on the label, with his remix which follows along on the same lines but a deep'd down version, with a more percussive twist. The last of the tracks comes from a new producer on the label, MDR, who has appeared on labels like UM Records, Soul Industries, and Behaviors, amongst others. He flips his remix all around and offers up a completely different take on the melodies of the Original and adds in a some more grooved out house sound to the mix. Welcome to another Year of DeepWit.
