Suntree Records is happy to announce its next release that will open 2013 in a soulful way. It's the return of Marcus Gauntlett to our label, this time joined by the lovely and talented UK vocalist Kaysee. The result is 'Friends With Benefits' with remixes supported by Haldo (IT), Mike Scott (NL) and Mark Masters (UK).

Marcus Gauntlett Ft. Kaysee - Friends with Benefits (Original)

Marcus Gauntlett is no stranger to us, as his previous work 'Fools Rush In' was accepted with great enthusiasm among the soulful house companions of Suntree Records. Kaysee is a true talented vocalist whose voice can be found on legendary labels such as HedKandi, Ministry Of Sound, MN2S, Pacha, Blanco Y Negro, Subliminal, Duffnote, and so on. 'Friends with Benefits' combines the soulful flow of Marcus and the formidable voice of Kaysee. The track gets lifted by the warmth of the keys, atmospheric strings and powerful bass.

Mark Masters Remix

Mark Masters has a long-running history in music business in the UK and across Europe. Over the years his releases and remixes were picked up by labels such as Hedkandi, Flawless Recordings and so on. Mark did remixes for established names like Ron Caroll, Hardsoul, Baggi Begovic and Barbara Tucker. For Suntree Records, Mark made an incredible remix for the prime-time hours of the night. It is techy combined with soul as you get into the break. Listening to it several times you can easily imagine it can be served in one of the big-room venues of today.

Haldo Soulful Mix

Haldo from Italy is not only the label boss of Proceed Recordings, but his work has appeared on great lounge compilations such as Cafe Ibiza, Shanghai Lounge, Buddha Club. His Haldo Soulful Mix on 'Friends with Benefits' is truly a smoother than smooth soulful house track, ideal for the early hours or intimate party sessions. The bass really keeps the track going while Haldo also preserves the warmth of the keys from the original, and has added subtle synth stabs and a powerful lead.

Mike Scot's Deep & Sexy Remix

Mike Scot hails from Amsterdam and starting to be a prominent figure in the house scene, as he released tracks on Purple Music, Stimulated Soul and Duffnote. Collaborations with Richard Earnshaw and Miss Bunty show us that Mike is not to be unmissed on this release. His Deep & Sexy Remix develops nicely with a smooth guitar riff, solid melody and refined use of arpeggiator. Mike's interpretation is a classical example of house, and we are proud to add him to our release.
