Originally released as a B-Side track on Monty Luke's Black Catalogue label, Luke Solomon was turned on to Carter Bros ‘Run’ by both Dan and Leon, the original staff members from the Classic stables. Luke then proceeded to play the bejesus out of the record, most notably appearing on his Boiler Room set as part of the Classic Music Company takeover. Now it’s finally re-mastered and re-issued digitally with new remixes from both Monty Luke and Luke Solomon. On the remixes Monty strips it back to a drum mix that has an astonishing affect on the best of sound systems, whilst Luke Solomon’s mix compliments Monty’s perfectly by elaborating on the Ska and Reggae influences with a mix inspired by London in general.
