Sisa Sopazi aka Mr. Funk Daddy was born in the early eighties and is currently doing remarkably well in the South African music industry. Mr. Funk started his career in music in 1999 when he joined the Natal Technikon Music Department where he was majoring in performance as a drummer and in subjects like Harmony, Arranging, Production, etc. He then moved up to Joburg in 2003 after he finished his music diploma to play with the likes of Thandiswa Mazwai, MXO, Jonas Gwangwa, Aya Mpama and the list goes on. In 2008, he fell in love with house music and entered into music production as his newly found career. Since then, his name has appeared on a couple of productions for artists such as Pumeza, Emza, Thandiswa Mazwai, Funky Soul, Loction Jams and so on. He co-owns a record label Itay'ma Le Funk Multimedia with SoulJunky. Their first project, "Funky Soul Vol 1," has made waves in South Africa with follow-up singles and remixes that top the national charts. He is truly a man to watch in 2013 and beyond as he keeps on brewing hot numbers for you.
