Phunky Rabbit keeps the momentum going in 2013 with a quality Progressive House package for you all. Rampus (Bjarne Sorum) teams up with fellow Norwegian vocalist, Beate Torjussen for a progressive house banger. Rampus (you are all familiar with Bjarne from his work and production at the label) features a fat analog synth driven backing for Beate to sing an explicit hook over which will shock a lot of you but at the same time will stay in your head. Beate sings a variety of styles and often works live around Norway. This track just bubbles away with plenty to keep the listener interested while at the same time grooves your body on the dancefloor.
On the remixes it is with the greatest pleasure that I welcome a very close friend of mine on board, Rachel Ellektra (Rachel James) in her Skyroom guise. I spent many happy years at Rachels Axis Trax label. Rachel is a professional remixer and has worked with just about anybody who is anybody in the house scene over the past 20 years. Here she provides a solid progressive remix which is full of twisting grooves and vibes again aimed at the mainroom club scene. Finally we have Yohann Levems remix. Yohann has been with the label from the start and although he can work in various house styles this French progressive house vibe is what he is most famous for. I have always rated Yohann as one of the main producers in France if not Europe. He makes full use of the vocal here and then the electro style synths provide plenty of hooks to 'Make the girls go crazy'.
