Now in it's 6th edition, the My Tech House series goes from strength to strength with this release. Push Communications have curated yet another state-of-the-house-nation transmission, featuring a wealth of top producers and red-hot tracks from across the Tech House spectrum. Martin Landsky's bonafide classic '1000 Miles' is included here in the guise of its recent interstellar remix by Holland's Gerd, while Steve Bug offers us a track from his exceptional 'Noir' album released in October 2012. Kasper Bjørke, the Danish über producer / DJ also contributes an exceptional track from this year, featuring the iconic talent of balearic pop pranksters Laid Back, in the form of a stunning remix by Adana Twins. Elsewhere, this compilation features the tough, funky and dancefloor proven charms of Tiger Stripes, Aeromaschine, Nico Lahs and KYODAI, among others, not to mention the Bulgarian acid king Kink, here dropping his epic 'Detunator' via Matthais Kaden's '909 Drumqueen remix'.
What's more, two exclusive tracks are up for grabs - James Barnsley's 'Radiate' is a clear statement of intent from the young Brit, seemingly having learnt a thing or two from his high profile residency at Back to Basis in Leeds. Greg Paulus's 'UR' remixed by Deniz Kurtel is the other exclusive, a pulsating, driving bomb of a track made for big sound systems and heaving dancefloors.
Six volumes in and the quality keeps on coming - the My Tech House series is as good an indicator of the health of the scene as anything available - here's to many more.
