VEGA ALLSTAR REMIXERS

Vega Records continues its new digital series with a collection of some of the hottest remixes ever released on the celebrated imprint. Featuring a heavy dose of French house flavour mixed with Latin, American and world rhymes and flavours, ‘VEGA ALLSTAR REMIXERS’ is set to continue Vega Records winning run into 2008.

As the international dance music community prepares for the annual Winter Music Conference in Miami, Vega Records are intent on heating up dancefloors ahead of schedule and ‘VEGA ALLSTAR REMIXERS’ is sure to do just that, being an adventurous package featuring deep, minimal, tribal and latin influences, but all containing the fierce groove synonymous with Vega Records.

Starting off with a decidedly French flavour, Lower East Side native Mr V.’s worldwide smash ‘Put Your Drink Down’ is given the remix treatment by Parisian House veteran Bob Sinclar before Grammy Award-winning musician and Vega Records head Louie Vega chips in his seminal remix of songbird Sara Devine’s modern day classic, ‘Special’. Vega’s own Elements Of Life collective follow with their beautiful ‘Mon Amour’ featuring the sweet vocals of Anané, though here it further benefits from the inimitable remix talents of DJ Gregory.

Glenn Underground’s tough dub of Ricardo Miranda and Latin Soul Brotha’s ‘Termino Mi Amor’ follows before the ‘Queen Of Queens’ – Soni - reassures us all that she is indeed ‘Here To Stay’ and, with Lower East Side native Filsonik on mix duties, the Big Apple’s House scene is certainly in good hands!

Elements Of Life step up to the plate again with ‘Journey’s Prelude’, their track with Philly’s own socially-switched on Ursula Rucker, here remixed by Frankie Feliciano, before we get another dose of a deep and raw version of Martin Solveig and Stephy Haik ‘Cabo Parano’, given the remix treatment by main man Claude Monnet.

Soulfuric Records’ Brian Tappert and Marc Pomeroy, also known as the critically-acclaimed remix and production duo of Jazz & Groove, chip in a remix of Elements Of Life’s own bossa-inspired ‘Mozalounge’, while the collective - consisting of Luisito Quintero, Raul Midon, Louie Vega and, of course, Anane - round off this stellar ‘Remixers & Producers’ selection with DJ Spinna’s remix of their track ‘A Better Day’ and then, a spectacular 16 minute version of Joe Clausell’s remix of ‘Sunshine’, their collaboration with Blaze, available digitally for the first time ever HERE on VEGA ALLSTAR REMIXERS!

Make no mistake, ‘VEGA ALLSTAR REMIXERS’ has something for everybody, combining the varied talents of some of the House music collective’s most respected names to booty-shaking, dancefloor ramming-effect.
