GUESS WHAT
Mondo Giallo - the best of the Giallo soundtracks 1968-1974
After their first opus "Yuri Gagarin", tribute to the legendary astronaut, London/France based duet Guess What (Graham Mushnik and Luke Warmcop) are back with "Mondo Giallo" - the soundtrack to four imaginary Italian films from the 60's and 70's. The combo explored all musical facets of the Giallo cinema, from the dramatic "crime jazz" to the sleazy erotic bossa-nova, without omitting the psychedelic and spooky accents of a baroque horror moment...; All this interpreted in the band's distinctive melodic and multi-signatured style.
Hammond organ and fuzzy Rhodes piano are prominent, percussions and exotic arrangements (dulcimer and xylophone among others) parsimoniously poured in - 12 unmissable tunes with groove, taste, and Ispirazione!
