KLAMAUK°

klamauk° was founded in august 2008 in mainz, germany. the label collects and promotes music & art produced by artists throughout europe. klamauk means confusion, rumbling, shouting, noise, riot, spectacle, bustle, turmoil, hullabaloo, unrest. besides this very abstract interpretation, the label’s idea is based on the fact that nothing is more stable in sound and design than change. the goal is to create a pool of artists and have them participate (=klamauk) in a way that shapes the label’s sound and look. For example, the first five releases will contain various artists, constantly changing impressions without loosing it’s roots: microfunk. all upcoming physical and digital releases will have unique colorings.
