STUTAS MUSIC is an Independent Record Label born from the collaboration of the super talented Producer/Keyboardist STUART TROTMAN and Singer/Songwriter TASITA D'MOUR. Between Stuart and Tasita their CV's reads as a who's who of the pop and soul Charts, they have definitely earned their stripes and paid their dues over the years in their careers.
Tasita is a well known singer and songwriter who has earned her profile in the Soul and Soulful House scene having featured on many high profile labels and with many well known Producers such as COPYRIGHT from DEFECTED Records and the band REEL PEOPLE, also Japanese Band KYOTO JAZZ MASSIVE etc. From a Label point of view Tasita previously worked at Papa Records where she learnt even more about the music business from a label point of view, she also has a Music Publishing company under her belt.
Stuart has been the Musical Director for several famous bands and has toured the world with everyone from Il Divo, Anastacia, Jaki Graham, Will Young to Girls Aloud and JLS to name a few. His skills as a programmer are exceptional and have been used on many tours, Album recordings, TV show appearances etc. he has appeared and played on several artists albums over the years and is now seeking to make his mark on his own projects with various artists giving guidance and using his experience to create new masterpieces for all to enjoy.
Now together having created STUTAS MUSIC the pair want to release their own brand of music without limits on style. The label seeks to promote raw talent from any and all genre's, but most of the music will be based on the soul/jazz and pop genre's with remixes into the house and dance arena's.
Our combined style is very eclectic and we want to show people that no matter what genre you love, it's all music!! It will always move you, it will always connect with you. It's ok to blend styles and to move between music genres as long as it's your flavour and represents who you are. There is nothing wrong with breaking the boundaries, music should be real, organic and it should grow.
