We surely missed them and they are back with a vengance. Dtension hits home with two solid tracks "A Definite Strangeness" featuring a killer vocal well placed in some steamy percussive house that uses a healthy dose of classic Deodato keyboards in a subtley building production with floor frenzying breaks. "It Seems To Hang On" is an equally brilliant cover version of a classic Ashford & Simpson hit with very Chic flavored bass and soulful vocals by Anthony Moriah. Produced by Michael Gray & Jon Pearn for Eye Industries Engineered and all additional instruments by Michael Gray and Jon Pearn at Sultra Studios UK. A Definite Strangeness: Written by Michael Gray & Jon Pearn (Copyright control) Vocals by Kat Blu It seems to hang on: Written by Nickolas Ashford & Valerie Simpson (Warner Bros. Music) Vocals by Anthony Moriah Bass by Freddie Thompson Strings arranged by Simon Hale www.dtension.com |
