Following his 2009 collabortaion with Volta, which brought us the release Western Spaghetti, Salvatore Freda is back on Freerange and this time he's going it alone!
The Worldwild EP presents us with two, rock solid club tracks which blur the boundaries of house and techno, straddling them both like a cowboy in a Rodeo. First up is Miramare, we're not sure how he does it but this track manages to radiate subtlty and depth whilst being loaded with enough energy and drama to put a category 5 hurricane to shame.
Irpinia is loaded with crisp beats, layers of dubbed synths and carefully selected vocal samples, another track that would slot nicely in to a faster techno set but loaded with the funk, groove and sexiness you'd expect to find in your favourite bit of house.
Massimo Di Lena’s (aka Horatio & Massi DL) monster remix of Irpinia is raw and intense. Taking it's influence from US old school house, this track makes a call to the dance floor. An authentic house sound with a contemporary twist.
