For this latest release on San Fancisco's Eight-Fifteen Recordings label, respected producer/DJ Vincent Kwok hooks up with New York City's DJN Project for a moving collaborative song titled Nowhere To Go. The lush music and solid beats provide the foundation for the thought provoking, socially conscious lyrics and vocals of DJN Project's Rick G who has put his talents to projects with luminaries such as Louie Vega, Kenny Bobien, Arnold Jarvis and Michelle Weeks to name but a few.
Legendary west coast DJ/producer Julius Papp is on board for a deeper, dubbier treatment well-suited for those special late night moments. Italy's Island Groove provide a remix that adds a Detroit-ish bassline and jazzy sax and key riffs. New Mondo provide an electronic based remix, while the remix from the mysterious LEFT uses only the essential vocal elements on top of a tech-house inspired rhythm and atmospheric synths.
