Stuttering Munx are UK stars on the rise Tim Nice & Johnny Young. 2008 was a groundbreaking year for the guys with several original tracks being released on labels from London to Tokyo to Seattle. Their brilliant remixes for Agent Automatic, and David Amo & Julio Navas, along with their wicked interpretation of Groove Junkies “Black Man In The White House” which reached the Number 1 spot on Traxsource’s Tech House Chart capped off a banner year.
Onward to 2009 and Stuttering Munx are building on their success with their stunning debut MoHo 180 release, “Stories of An Addict” EP. The first chapter, “Addicted To The Rise”, pits Stuttering Munx against Groove Junkies, and features the incomparable Indeya (“Music’s Gotcha Jumpin’”, “Oh Lord”, “Gonna Get By”) on vocals. This unique convergence of styles has resulted in 2 lethal vocal mixes with accompanying instrumentals that are destined to do massive damage during your peak hour sets! The next chapter brings us to the deliciously wicked “Toasted Tubes”. This one is all about Stuttering Munx with 2 mixes (and useful drum tool) being offered that feature various elements of tech, house, and electro for your aural consumption. Fierce! If you’re already hip to Stuttering Munx than you know that they are the real deal. If you’re not, than we invite you get on board and check out this amazing EP that’s destined to be positioned right at the front of your cd wallet for some time to come. Enjoy!!

REVIEWS Defected.com The Groove Junkies get in the studio with Stuttering Munx and Indeya to bring you “Stories Of An Addict” on MoHo 180. The first track, “Addicted To The Rise” features Stuttering Munx and Indeya on vocals which is very mainroom sounding with that funky sounding edge that Groove Junkies have spent years getting just right. You can definitely expect this to be all over Ibiza over the next few months. The final track on this outstanding EP sees the Stuttering Munx on their own with “Toasted Tubes”. Johnny Young has given us a percussion filled mix that has got so much energy, and can quiet easily fit into any of the Swedish Mafia style set. Tim Nice Way Back Mix is the next remix of this track. Deep spoken vocals saying, “Time to go back” add the extra bit of edge to thi s version. This is a brilliant package on MoHo 180 that will appeal to a whole new audience and dancefloor, and just in time for the start of Ibiza. Antony Angell
JJazproject.com MoreHouse Records younger sibling delivers release number two featuring new productions from Stuttering Munx and a collaboration with Groove Junkies that features the vocals of Indeya. Typical Groove Junkies/MoreHouse it ain‘t; there‘s a tougher edge to the proceedings. That should see “Addicted To The Rise” and “Toasted Tubes” appeal to those who enjoy their house with a techy twist. For me it’s the “Time Nice Way Back Mix” of “Toasted Tubes” that’s doing it but it’s well worth checking out all the mixes of both tracks for yourself. Dean Serafini
EARLY BUZZ Kaskade - "This is a very solid release. Full Support." Static Revenger – “Just brilliant - i love it!” Lewis Dene – “The Mo Hump Mix is nice and deep with a tough feel.” Davidson Ospina – “Lots of good movement in Addicted To The Rise-Deep Tech Mix!!” Richard Earnshaw – “Toasted Tubes-Tim Nice Way Back Mix is in the wallet for sure.” DJ Pope – “Addicted is straight-up HEAT!” Mike Stukes – “MAN! You guys just don't know how 2 quit!”
