Be thankful in 2009!
Italy’s Doll Combers come on board once again to remix a reissue from one of soulful house music’s most celebrated artists. They submit 2 reproductions with great approval. Their Vocal Mix is right on par with the soulful jazzy set complete with long Hammond organ solos, slappy percussion, a nice rolling bassline and intermittent synth injections. Their Element Mix is slightly darker and bit more dubbish but keeps the slappy rhythm and ups the snyth sounds without losing any of the song’s integrity. Doll Combers continue on the path of quality and join previous remixers Blaze and Lenny Fontana who were originally on the case turning this tune into a soulful classic.
