After her storming debut on Enzyme Black recordings with 'Take It' Lainy is back on this heavyweight Enzyme Black production. The full release comes with a DIY construction kit of elements for use in re-edits and DJ Mixes.
The Club Mix is a monstrous fusion of old and new. An extended drum intro with heavy percussive hits leads into a siren like synth that commands attention. Warm polysynth chords and an arpeggiated synth bring in the chorus followed by the lushest bassline and rhodes combination. With beats evocative of the NYC sound of old this mix is the one for the old school heads.
The Alternative Club Mix is the same as the Club except we've reduced the amount of 'siren' synth - for those of you who prefer the more subtle approach!
The Peaktime Mix brings things bang up to date with contemporary, glitched vocal cuts underpinned by a block rocking powerhouse beat. This is big room all over and devastating on the floor. Huge tribal drum breakdowns lead into a bassline driven chugger.
For those who buy the full release, the Re-edit Pack is available. Inside this you'll find a collection of drumloops, the bassline, rhodes, synths and vocals all in isolation for creating your own versions. Copyright remains with Enzyme Black Recordings - this package does not allow you to release your own version or use the elements in your own productions.
