"Soul Talkin" and Abstract Truth's "We Had A Thing". And the quality continues from one of the most gifted DJ/Producers Stateside with "The Ride", a deep and funky groove with a bassline to die for and stunning guitar solo breathing even more energy into this great dub boosted by sermon like male vocals. "Matty's II Deep Mix" on the flipside packs more of a punch with its driving complex percussion and deep chords supported by breathy sermon vocals which build and build. With bonus beats, acappellas and other DJ tools included, Matty makes it so easy to enjoy the ride. 4/5. --Mark Moore, Blues & Soul, Issue 871 Anything that can add an old skool vibe to that long and languid Wave trademark is a winner in this book, and pop remixer Heilbronn's pulled it off here with his appropriately titled bootie.
