Foliage Records present their second release, which is a beautiful soulful gem, entitled You're Special. The record has been produced by New Jersey based Jose Burgos, founder of Soul Creation and one half of Kings of Tomorrow. Soulful house queen Stephanie Cooke lends her songwriting and singing ability, blessing the track with the sort of delivery found on previous winners such as Here With My Best Friend and Rain (Let It All Come Down).
The stellar set of remixes come from Germany's Ralf GUM, head honcho of GOGO Music, and Miami based & Turkish born Doruk Ozlen. Ralf GUM's Vocal Mix featured life-giving key chords, stargazing synths, and Cooke's praising vocals. GUM's Dub uses dependable beats, on point key stabs and bass power to create an intense revision. Doruk Ozlen's Vocal Mix sees jazzy keys, cool strings and pattering percussion link up under Cooke's buoyant lyrics. Doruk's Dubbb is a deeper remix, with fluttering keys, uplifting strings and Stephanie's special vocal refrain.
This magical soulful release with deep and spiritual overtones will help establish Germany's Foliage Records as a major player in the house world. This one is for all ya deep & soulful heads!
