The Louie Lou & Chris Perez Mix immediately bursts into a conga slapping intro that begins to build with rhythmical accents of percussive toys leading into the song’s body and delicately, Jannae’s vocals begin to ride the 10 minute tropical wave of pure latin essence along with lightly played chords and melodies that beautifully balances the song. Now, the Cut Back Mix, displays Jannae’s sultry voice that ascends to spiritual climax and will have you singing along the title of the song “Feeling Good” with your arms raised high and eyes shut tight allowing her optimistic lyrics to uplift you along with the ambient synths by Chris Perez and John Crockett’s exquisite keyboard solo. Once again, Lou Gorbea delivers a wonderful song for Vega Records with a great collaboration of talented musicians and the fresh and up and coming Jannae.
