The Cube Guys remix is the musical equivalent of someone you know and love transforming from a sweet-natured, gentle chap to a bit of a lunatic after an eye-opening stag do in Estonia. Tracey K's vocal is still at the forefront of the track, but the floating, relaxed melodies of previous versions of this track have been replaced with sharp, stabbing synths, fiercely driving basslines and maic percussion. Make no mistake; this is an epic remix. The breakdown is an absolute hair-raiser ? techy, dirty and uplifting - and as the vocal kicks back in, anywhere this drops will erupt in a sea of raised hands and stomping feet. I'll say it again; epic stuff.
DJ Meme produces a laid-back, groove-led affair, complimenting Tracey K's sublime and catchy vocal performance with some beautiful string arrangements. A great addition to the list of mixes of one of the biggest tunes of last year. Also added is the Balearic Soul & Dennis Ferrer remixes. |
