Originally released on the now defunct US label Flatline Records, 'I Shall Not Be Moved', is a prime example of dancefloor oriented Gospel House at its best. Featuring vocal legend Kenny Bobien with a truly inspiring performance, the track is set to make its mark once again with a set of brand new mixes.
Meme's Classic Vocal Mix 2007 is a fresh take on the Underground Ministries' version, which combines the original elements with uplifting new drum sounds and soaring keyboards, making it a modern day classic. Also check out his Special Reprise, a beautiful broken down delight, and his Beatzzz if you're looking for a percussion-fuelled gem.
Staying true to the Original's vibe, Brian Tappert delivers his in-demand 2004 Re-Edit and B's Promised Land Dub, which offers a deeper take on the track, combining Brian's signature beats and stabby synths with elements of Kenny's vocals.
Soul Creation (Jose Burgos and Duce Martinez) bring some New Jersey flavas to the table with their Revisited Mix, a smooth take on the original with a wicked drum breakdown. Punchy beats and stripped down vocals give their Higher Power Dub a whole new direction.
Rounding off the package is the Original Extended Club Mix, from the original Flatline Records release. This version was lifted from the VINYL as this is the ONLY surviving version. |
