The debut release from Dani Junquera, Funk Day, is a DEEP, sensual and Jazzy trek into Balaeric House Music with a touch of Chicago! Flutes, Horns and more make this journey a pleasant one whether you're in a lounge, club or in your car on a long drive.

Dani was born in 1985 in Gijon, Spain. He started six years ago, listening and mixing music coming from Chicago. House and Deep and funky were styles played in his sets (Kerry Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, Mylo, Funkstar, Michael Gray, Jesse Saunders).

Over the last few years, his style became more diversified. Electro and minimal were the flavor of the day so he began to open his dancefloor up to just good House & Electronic Music. He became the resident in the Doblon de Oro, Semana Negra Gijón Festiva participation, Merendero Cortina (2004/2005/2006), Café Dam, Discoteca El Jardín, Museums (Laboral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial” 2008 Anniversary presentation), Hotel Cocktails, Paint exhibitions, and a lot of collaborations with Abierto Hasta el Amanecer association (AHA) – young association for an entertainment without Drugs and Alcohol.

Dani’s feelings are strong for music and culture “Mixing is an art, you have to be dedicated and perservere.” Dani began to take courses which allowed his passion to become professional, enrolling with AHA in Dj courses. Second stage starts with the main idea to get his own sound, with which he could transmit his way to live and feel the music.

The first Khazuma Future´s reference to 2010 shows perfectly the philosophy that will take the label during the tenth year of the second millennium: music for sophisticated and demanding dancefloors but without neglecting the quality of the tracks. The fourteenth release of this label imprint based on Barcelona is produced by Hitch, who presents his Unknown EP.

Hitch is the alter ego of Edu del Doce, one of the headliners of the underground scene in Barcelona, which is also a part of Raum Club (one of the freshest projects of nightclubbing in the Catalan capital). As a producer he has released some tracks in some different labels like Deep Class, Novo Music, Young Odds and Mantra Vibes among others; moreover, Hitch has made a couple of appearances in Khazuma. Unknown EP shows the facets that characterize him as an artist: his eye on the dancefloor, the introduction of organic elements in their music and a current and trendy vision of electronic music.

Get On is the first track that appears on the EP. The heavy groove, their percussions and two crazy breakdowns are the hallmarks of this time bomb for the peaktime. Titulo Desconocido shows us the Hitch´s jazzy background. The piano takes the leading role in this kind of jam session at the Manhattan of the sixties. Misiones closes the release; a track that perfectly reflects the long periods that Hitch live on the White Island; groovy house with some vocal samplers and a great bassline that will test the subwoofer of the best sound systems. upported by Shlomi Aber, Nima Gorji, Ramon Tapia, Reboot, Dj Gregory or Deetron among others.

The world's favourite social soundtrack returns with a slick collection of ice-cool dance tracks.

Now that the frenzy surrounding festive celebration has seeped away into distant memory, there's a danger that your energy levels might suffer the same kind of quick remission. Those who have recovered sufficiently from their recent excesses to ponder such things might see nothing but a bleak landscape of failed resolutions and cold winter nights stretched endlessly out before them. Happily, Bargrooves has provided exactly the kind of effortlessly cool soundtrack capable of forgetting your woes and easing you smoothly into the new decade.

Over Ice 2 continues in the same vein as its predecessor � which was the best-selling digital Bargrooves compilation to date � by focussing very much on the cooler end of the house music spectrum, epitomised by signature tracks such as the heavily luaded Reboot 'Enjoy Music' and Dennis Ferrer's 'Hey Hey'.

Other tracks of note include Paul & Fritz Kalkbrenner's massive 'Sky & Sand' which has has clocked up over four million views on YouTube, Ewan Pearson's remix of pioneering electronic act Junior Boys' 'Hazel' and the new Jesse Rose mix of Hardrive's seminal 'Deep Inside'.

As strong as the tracklist is, the music is not the only story with this release. The artwork concept for the series as a whole has had a major overhaul, and Over Ice 2 boasts the devastatingly cool artwork of Dragon 76.

Born in Shiga, Japan, Dragon76 is an illustrator and painter whose works are deeply inspired by indigenous cultures and music. He regularly travels around the world painting live at events, music gigs, gallery openings and was once invited by Peace Boat (NGO) to do live painting for a period of 3 weeks onto walls of refugee camps in Aqabe, Jordan. The artwork for Over Ice 2 is the first of a series of illustrations he has completed for the Bargrooves series and sits perfectly with the musical direction of the label.

With a new look and a familiar yet progressive sound, 2010 may just be the year Bargrooves hits the big time.

There seems no stopping for Ralf GUM, as he just has another fantastic year in his career behind him. He played countless DJ gigs worldwide and had numerous highly successful releases in a row which all cemented Ralf’s standing at the top of his game. But Ralf does not rest on his laurels and steadily continues to put out exceptional songs. With “Complicated” he drops another outstanding recording that reflects his love for sexy tunes with astonishing freshness and prodigious deepness. Kafele, trumpeter, composer and producer, has been playing the trumpet for over 18 years. He attributes his love and appreciation for the art to his father who often listened to recordings of John Coltrane, Freddie Hubbard and Miles Davis among others. As a by-product of becoming a Chicago resident for about 7 years, Kafele was inundated with lively, upbeat house music. This musically enriched background provided the influences that helped cultivate his unique sound. Phil Kullmann aka Raw Artistic Soul makes his welcome return to GOGO Music with another massive remix work. It is almost exactly one year since he remixed “Black Coffee feat. Bucie - Turn me on” for the label, which became a worldwide club-hit and #3 in the “Best of 2009” top-sellers of the year on Traxsource. Phil once again shows his superb talent to deliver monster mixes with innovative sound-design. Almost 10 years after Paul Kominek aka Turner cofounded the Dial Label he now releases his long awaited first Pawel album. In the meantime his Turner Project grew to an amazing success, his large output includes 3 Longplayers on Ladomat and Mute and many singles and remixes for Ellen Allien, Miss Kitten, Depeche Mode etc. In 2006 Kominek founded the Orphanear label in Berlin to take care of his own releases, newcomers and remixes by Vince Watson, Robert Hood and Sten. Now his debut album comes out covered by silver typography on a white sleeve, reduced and glittering – just like Pawel‘s music. It was a long journey to reach the top of Kominek‘s work. After firstly touching the techno music scene in the Detroit influenced Frankfurt he moved to the melancholic deep city Hamburg. From here he started several trips around the world, mainly Southamerica and Asia. All this melts together into the typical sound of Pawel. Tracks such as Coke und Crillon are deeply inspired by almost two decades of Detroit‘s Planet E – Era, followed by new artists like Patrice Scott and Omar S. The Warp alike Muscles comes up with a touch of Plaid‘s elegance but subtile deepness conects it to other lowlights like Alvin and Wasting My Time. Here you find again the sweet and lovely Turner, a musician who reinvented himself to share a dream with us.

In the beginning there was a movement, a calling if you will to be a flagship that would bring people together under a common bond. That bond was music and that calling is how The Eardrum Visionaries were started. Consisting of 7 very talented music-loving friends, The Eardrum Visionaries became not only a outlet for the everyday stresses of life but a fellowship among brothers. Even though members of the group had very little prior knowledge of each other, what they had in common was a love for anything musical. Being industry savvy and having a keen knowledge of the mainstream entertainment media market with its habit of being as isolated and unoriginal. E.Vs main goal was to be different. The second part of that goal was to maintain a difference that could be seen when placed next to a thousand other music acts. This is what makes E.V special, The Eardrum Visionaries aren't just a band or a music group instead they are a entire entertainment entity comprised of 7 members. The Abilities of the group is astounding, maintaining themselves and being completely self-sufficient . Each member is multitalented with talents ranging from songwriting, music production, studio/live musician performances, advanced dance, Studio Engineering, Graphic Design, Video Production and web design not to mention a elite core of DJ's who scorch turntables with a mere touch. With these talents and tools the members of E.V decided that they would do there part and change the world with music. From that point on the plan was to channel all the emotions a person could feel from anger to sorrow from compassion to loathing and to capture these feeling in a recording there by making it available to anyone anywhere in the world, in hopes that it could steer a person from making a wrong decision in life. Honest, Real Music is what EV offers to anyone with the heart to listen. They make songs that explain difficult points that you come across in your everyday life, other songs that let you release and dance away your cares and fun songs that you and your friends can relate and sing along too. Kicking off the EP with the MUCK tracks, these mixes are designed to work the crowd during peak hours. With it's heavy layered percussion, live hammond Organ, and Deep Afro-Latin Bassline, dancers will connect to these selections.

Reminiscent of New York's best underground instrumental dance anthems of the past decade, the EP journeys into the deep with the Dance Tracks. Dj Romain presents the TRAK GODZ, Afro Godz is the first release from the production team DJ Romain and Pat Bedeau. The pair met at the Miami Winter Music Conference 2009, but it was during Romain's 2009 dj UK tour, when he heard Pats productions, like Just Can't wait featuring Chanel produced with Steve Gurley and Affection Ft Shishani he produced with Kenny Large from Amsterdam and was feeling Pat's production skills.

Sheyi is a Yoruba ONIELU, from West Africa,
(Which is an ordained drummer in the old Oyo palaces)
It was when Romain, Pat and Sheyi met at a Tribe party in london(brixton) they all decided to work together and to get into the studio, and the TRAK GODZ were born.

Afro Godz, is deep, tribal, Jazzy Afro drum workout with authentic vocals from Yoruba percussionist, singer songwriter SHEYI, Sheyi envokes the Oristhas and acknowledges the princlings of Africa. Afro Godz is a Yoruba infused deep house workout.

Jon Carter has exported his own particular brand of quality madness to the four corners of the globe for over 15 years. He rose to prominence as a resident of the era-defining Heavenly Social in 1994, playing legendary weekly sessions alongside the Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim.

Alongside his Monkey Mafia project Jon has recorded under many different guises - Junior Cartier, Joe Schmoe and Artery to name just three. His impressive remix CV includes such high profile commissions as U2, The Beach Boys, Manic Street Preachers, The Prodigy, The Beastie Boys and both The Stone Roses AND The Happy Mondays amongst many others.

In over 15 years of professional DJing and production, Alex Blanco has worked with, produced, and remixed such names as Seb Fontaine, Simon Dale, Just Jack, Simply Red, Gabriella Cilmi, Out Of Office, Oliver Lang, Deepgroove and far too many more to mention.

A chance meeting between Jon and Alex in Ibiza and the ensuing studio sessions gave birth to a new breed of uptempo dance music, starting with Stevie’s Drop, blending their shared love of chunky, rolling ragga beats and good-time party music. A string of Radio 1 plays and support from the likes of Toddla T, has ensured early success for their new project.

A DJing partnership came next, at their highly popular new night, Block At The Lock, with a full-on live show the next logical step. All they needed was a name, and what better than Roosevelt High - named after the high school in the Bronx, whose gym played host to up to a hip-hop crowd of 4,000 party-people at a time in the early 80s.

Inspired by the almighty Amen break & many other well known classic grooves. Industrial Strength's Vintage Breaks is a must have for any DnB, Funky Breaks, Dub Step, Techno & electronic music producer.

This unique Industrial Strength pack dives deep into the needs of the modern music producer while keeping the old school flavor alive. With 380 original license free samples performed live by underground New York drummer Evan Pazner. The loops were made using a late 1960's Ludwig drum kit similar to the kit used in the famous Amen break. This pack contains all you need to produce the hottest drum tracks in any style with out having to dig into record crates to get the true sounds of vintage breaks !

The loops were created in various tempos and formats to meet the needs of the producer just starting out and the more advanced user. Vintage Breaks contains Apple Loops, Rex 2, and Acidized wav as well as a single hit drum shots to create your own patterns with. Vintage Breaks is also available as a Refill for Reason users.

The pack is produced by Bhk, Lenny Dee & Derek Nievergelt at the Tight Spot Studios in Brooklyn New York. The samples were made in ProTools Hd @ 24 Bit 44.1 k.

All the drums were recorded in a dead room to limit the room reflections and standing waves giving you more flexibility when using the breaks in your track. Various microphones and vintage pre amps were used in each recording to give you that dirty old school record style feeling with outcompromising on the quality of the drum sounds and loops. All the loops are pumped up while leaving loads of head room for you to add your own effects & Eq.

The breaks were edited and reworked by ISR's head sound designer BHK to give you perfectly cut authentic sounding grooves that are totally usable in today's modern music production. BHK's drum and bass sample packs are some of the best selling packs in the DnB genre and his loops and sample's can be heard on many current DnB productions.

All are incredible vocalists and individually have performed all over the globe. Their wish was to record a club cut and together with Jaimy they have delivered their first house music single called Testimoni. The package contains 3 mixes and a Dubstrumental version of each, varying from full vocal, soulful house to a more dirty bigroom club sound.The first track is the Jaimy Remix. This is a bigroom house banger with only a few vocals of the entire song. It?s a very powerful house track with its rolling, bouncing bass and driving rhythm. The overall energy is fierce. Steve Ferrand makes his Tronicsole debut with this delightfully deep two tracker and comes with a mix from a producer in serious form Francois Dubois (Aka Funk D Void) Steve Ferrand with releases on Dessous and Urbantorque to name but two has been steadily building his reputation as a producer to watch. Here he turns out two proper grooves that remind us of why we love deep house. Francois Dubois, Funk D Void with his deep house slippers and cap and fresh from his huge Tom Middleton remix creates a deep discofied percussive (courtesy of Onionz) interpretation of Natural High that will get those feet shuffling.

Kalet is deep, is groovie and nice person, so it meets all the requirements to become a Regular guy. "We fall" drink from the purest deep tech house with hypnotic strings and lfat bass, reaaally fat.
"Alone in the Dark" takes a more crude and more stabby way, with dynamic chords and a simple but effective rhythmic sequence.

Javier Orduña revisits Alone in the Dark, obscuring more and more the track, travelling to the essence of the song without losing any tension.

Trust into the future could be the subtitle of this four track EP, for the Hertzlich label works on the premises of quality and solid Housemusic and certainly relies on a contemporary production level. In this case, the new EP hails from down under. With his Money EP on Siam Records, the young Australian Lewie Day has a hot potato cooking and already comes along with a remarkable follow-up. Next to the two originals Reflections and Drei Und Zwanzig, the Reflections EP offers two additional promising remixes. Together with the also very successful newcomer Mic Newman, the Solan guys put their hands on the original and yield a decent and heart-warming Deep House package. Both of the originals have been kept very tradional and laid-back. Deep chords, female vocal-lines, well - defined strings and funky basslines water the mouth for more and that goes especially for the Solan plot. Those guys add an absorbing drive to their version and hark back to the original layout only indirectly. Their interpretation might get even deeper but with more punch in the lower frequencies, plus they playfully arranged the trebles like the hi-hat and the percussion. One can easily distinguish the Solan handwriting. The second version of Mic Newman places emphasis on an electronic bass and classic Deep House chords. Sunny and soulful vocals determine the excellent arrangement. The future has never sounded that good.

The Berlin based duo have been releasing some of the finest deep and underground club music we've found in the last couple of years on labels such as Real Soon, Hairy Claw as well as their own Retreat imprint which they run with Quarion. Kicking off we have The Keyboarder, an expertly crafted gem of a track which goes heavy on the stabs but steady on the groove. Like Soundstream or Akufen for example, Session Victim know instinctively how to inject life, soul and atmosphere into their tracks to ensure a sound they can call their own. Flip over for Tomorrow Night which takes a warped, dubby disco approach whilst ensuring things stay super deep. It's all about the tease on this one, keeping everything stripped back to bare bass and beats until the beautiful chords are introduced in the last section of the track. Even (Dub) completes this sublime release, dropping things to unfathomable depths that result in a truly masterful piece of house music which sounds like little else around.

Ivana Parnasso is a young artist born in Marsala (Sicily-Italy), devoted to art sculptor and painter grew up in a family where there is much of music and art, in his childhood thanks to the father (drummer) grows in a world of notes and harmonies, sounds that will influence in his artistic career.
Percussionist and composer is also equipped with a fine voice, begins its first steps in music at the age of 18, playing the drums and percussion in various groups and musical genres, subsequently she contaminates with genres such as BossaNova & Funky.
As composer his music have an elegant approach to a mix of genres correlated with each other, the musical influences found in his compositions have a taste of BossaNova, Funk, Drum 'n' Bass and Trip Hop, a research for a sonority Lounge/Chillout with a style of great taste with seventies reminiscences.

2009 was a great year for These Days records, and 2010 promises to be even better. The platform stood out for its innovative yet functional club sound and unique artwork concepts. The new year begins with a new split series under the name Universal Consciousness, based on the idea of connection between all things, and that all things have been coordinated, and they combine to make up the same universe. The first part is dedicated to two very different takes on spiritual, cosmic space techno. On the A-side Argy’s “Sometimes I’m blind” generates a long and uplifting emotional climax, which features a solo that will forever stay in your heart. The track was recorded at the end of 2008, and despite numerous offers to release the record elsewhere, nothing was finalised and the recording never saw the light of day. Soon after the birth of his own label, it naturally fit the platform and seemed a perfect way to start the new year. On the flip side, Sheffield born Alexander Ross, brings forth a cavernous techno piece awash with reverberation and spacial echos that brings a driving yet non the less emotionally captivating moment perfectly in balance with the depth of the A-Side.

Story of the tracks:

– There’s something fascinating about trains, says Alf Tumble (one half of Bangana). If you listen closely you can hear rhythms och sound patterns from a moving train similar to beats and basslines. Monotonous and moving but not totally quantisized. Like disco in a way.

Alf’s favourite train is the early tilting, Italian model called Pendolino. A high speed train that require special tracks to run on to allow higher speeds than on the normal curved track by tilting the passenger compartment of the train a few degrees. The first active tilting system was introduced in Great Britain in 1970s but the initial experiment failed: seasickness was the result. When the Italians bought the active tilting technology it started successful runs in 1975 and later became one of the most popular trains among ordinary people.
Like disco in a way.

Another train inspiration of Alf’s is found on the flipside. The American classic Southern Belle – a passenger train from the 1940s running between Kansas City & New Orleans. To promote the new train Kansas City Railway held a beauty contest to find "Miss Southern Belle" - a young woman whose image would be used in advertising materials systemwide. Recently the train was re-constructed as a full scale model with modern colors (but without the girl) to catch the attention of young people. Just like disco, in a way.

Club Asylum have been around for about 5 years, and have worked along side some of the best recording artist's of our time, including ALL SAINTS, JODECI, KC& JOJO, THE DON, SHOLA AMA, DIONNE RAKEEM, ANOTHER LEVEL, RAY RUFFIN, KENNY THOMAS, DENADA, LYNSEY MOORE, RASHEEN PATERSON, GINUWINE, AMIRA, BARBARA TUCKER, LUTRICIA MCNEAL, MAIDA MYLES, MARVIN AND TAMERA AND DAWN TALLMEN amongst many many others. Club Asylum started out in the emergence of the early Uk Garage scene, under the stables of the UK's most prolific garage label Nice and Ripe records, owned by Grant Nelson fame. This is were the two production partners met Jeremy Sylvester and Paul Emanuel.
