ROBY MAAS

Roby Maas, born in Naples (Italy) in 1962 began chewing music from his father, who played the saxophone, immigrant in the United States. And since then, all his love for the music was specially for the Jazz / Blues / Soul / Funky / Gospel. He started playing the age of 11, his first record was Billy Preston - Will It Go Round In Circles brought by his father from the United States. He listened to the radio a lot, and his musical choices were very demanding but dad knew how to please him. Then in 1978 Roby was resident DJ at a famous Neapolitan club called QueensVille. He kept playing there for two years back to back with Warren who played at NATO and taught him everything about all the mixing techniques. Roby is currently a freelance DJ and always tries to bring to the world his beloved music, THE SOUL MUSIC
