WE ARE STRIPTEK

Striptek is a Producer / DJ Duo from Durban, and a rapidly, up and coming act in the Electronic Dance Music Scene in South Africa.

The outfit consisted of three members namely Darren Bezuidenhout, Paulo Mourtinho and Victor Wright, who have all been close friends for a very long time. However recently Paulo has withdrawn due to family responsibilities.

Striptek basically started off a social gathering between friends in April 2015. Constantly comparing our tastes and views of the music industry.

Striptek then started exploring the world of music production, software DAW programs and DJ mixing equipment. Darren had always had an interest in the process of making music and purchased the software and got down to learning the ins and out of music production. Paulo had the DJ equipment and started mixing in the tracks they had created with different music styles that they listened to and loved.With some time, all three were adding valuable and constructive input into all of their earlier work, all quickly learning the production elements in creating EDM.
