ARTONE

Artone is a music producer, remixer and a DJ, based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

As a teenager he was highly influenced by nu-jazz, neo-soul, instrumental hip-hop and trip-hop. He started making beats around 2003 when he was only 16 years old, experimenting with various styles and genres. In 2006 he started a trip-hop band and in 2007 he began collecting records and got into DJing. Soon after that Artone discovered the sound of the American label Naked Music Recordings. This was the turning point for him, as he is known to be highly influenced by the movement at the time and the West Coast Deep House scene. In 2008 Artone started experimenting with producing house music on which he'll be highly dedicated in the following years.

Artone has been involved in projects with artists from all over the world such as Miguel Migs, Jay-J, Dutchican Soul, Mr. V, the Grammy-nominated and Billboard charting saxophonist Samir Zarif (FKAjazz), Kinky Movement, Dwayne Motley, the Bulgarian pop icon Lubo Kirov, Marten Roberto & Nikolay Danev, TromBobby, Boyan, Lina Nikol, and many more. His music has been released by some of the finest music labels in the world such as Salted Music (US), Puro Music (ES), Diamondhouse Records (DE), Bobbin Head Music (AUS), Soulstar Records (IT), just to name a few. 

In 2021 his first single for Salted Music (US) featuring the legendary producer and DJ — Jay-J with an astonishing remix by Dutchican Soul went 1st place in the official Deep House Chart, Singles Chart and the Main Chart on Traxsource.

Artone is known for his unique style, blending smooth and laid back vibes with deep and soulful sounds. True to himself and his artistry, he prefers to create music from the depths of the soul, rather than following any mainstream trends.
