CHECO ZAC

In his music orientation he see himself as a member of the younger generation affected by soundtrack of Trainspotting movie. Checo Zac links this mood to contemporary house music and sound and gets inspirations and emotions across genres. Together with Cubik, he is the resident of the Vivacity+ Night at the U Bukanýra club in Prague, where he presents his openness in performing his own music. Together with Cubik, he has introduced tracks and remixes, including remakes of carefully selected Czech hits.

With his own name Zdeněk Vondra, Checo Zac is composing music since 1998 and since 2000 he has been also playing electronic music as DJ. His genre is mainly house and tech-house. In 2002/2003, he was the resident of the main dance event in the district of Příbram Le Mixage. As a DJ he now performs mainly in Prague (U Bukanýra, Chapeau, Roxy). In 2009 and 2010 he performed with other producers as part of the live act named Convoi Exceptionnel project. Since 2009, when he published his first release on Soul Records, he is releasing his music on Solstice and along with Cubik on the Deepwave or Dilematic labels. Besides dance music he has also experience with music and soundtracks for independent films, documentaries, performances and theater.
