MARK JACKSON

Mark Jackson (Known as "Jacko" back in the day) started his DJ career in the famous Circus Circus in Banbridge (Northern Ireland) and was considered one of the pioneering clubs for bringing rave/ club culture to Irish shores.

After a spell in the Killwaughter house alongside resident, Gleave Dobbin it was on to The Network Club. This is where Jacko really established his sound in Belfast, everything from vocal house to progressive gems, he would hold a residency here for 6 years.

Once Mark's sound was mastered, he then moved to Milk which again become another famous club in Belfast’s history. Here he was a resident DJ & also co promoted Milk54 a Thursday night that brought the original sound and feel of the famous Studio 54 in New York.

From there, Mark then had a 2 year residency in the Potthouse, Cathedral Quarter and then went to EL Divino Belfast. He can still be heard playing in some of Belfast’s busiest bars, Margot, The Jailhouse, Rita's Belfast and The Perch - Rooftop Bar.

Mark has also been busy in the studio, getting back into production again with studio partner Jay Kay and they have a number of releases ready for release later this year on De-Funkt Recordings/Traxx.
