EDDIE NIGUEL

Some might regard him as an unsung hero but those in the know are well aware that he is very much a champion in his own realm. A veteran who continues to push the boundaries of modern day club music, ​DJ/producer and label owner Eddie Niguel first cut his teeth in the clubs and festivals of his native Singapore. Dedicated to playing and producing the highest quality electronic music with over more than two decades of experience, Niguel has held long running residency at Singapore's top clubs and is also considered one of the few figures responsible for introducing international brands and curating local club nights during the city’s formative years in the underground club scene.

In the studio, Niguel has been steadily building a formidable reputation as one of Singapore’s greatest musical exports in recent years. Niguel’s track “The Warehouse” played a vital part in relaunching Dutch legend Michel De Hey’s ‘HEY! Records’, and releases on labels such as Midnight Shift, Dig Deeper, Get Physical and his own Integrity imprint has left an indelible mark on the electronic music spheres. Releases such as the recent “Back2Basics” EP, underground earworm hit “Absolute”, the Journey’s “City 2 City” and the anthemic “The Warehouse” crossed over multiple dance floors, festivals and DJ mixes worldwide including the Essential BBC Radio 1 shows with KiNK, Disclosure and Heidi. Played and supported by a variety of forward thinking DJs such as Laurent Garnier & Dixon, festival favourites KiNK & Sasha to techno stalwarts DJ Bone & Len Faki, the producer has displayed a diverse sound that amalgamates a wide range of influences from the finest deep house to peak time mainroom cuts.
2016 saw the producer launch his Integrity imprint to much acclaim. The fledgling label has rapidly gained a wide fan base with a string of successful releases over the years. ​The artist centric label has since release music from both emerging and established international artists such as Greg Gow, Tony Lionni, Kiko Navarro, Whitesquare, Copy Paste Soul, Dachshund, The Model, David Jackson and Kocleo to name a few.

Today, Niguel continues to be a regular performer for various parties at home headlining alongside DJs such as Answer Code Request, Recondite, Deetron, Redshape, Perel, Mike Huckaby, Rodhad and KiNK. 2018 looks set to be an exciting year ahead for him as more projects unfolds and he looks forward to continue making his mark globally.
