DANILA

From the very beginning of his career Danila remains in the vanguard of the most famous and popular Moscow DJs. He started his career in the mid 1990s as a resident DJ at "Chance", "Jazz Cafe" and "A Priori" clubs. Today he is the only resident DJ of the cult Spanish label "Matinee", and he also is a successful promoter and the owner of the Wazzup?record! label. The clubbers appreciate his incessant work to give them fresh and interesting music; the organizers of parties are really overcome by his ability to keep dancers on the dance floor for hours at a time.

Danila's DJ style is recognized from the first seconds when the music starts not only by regular visitors of "Arma 17" night clubs, where he performs most often, but by radio listeners too. DJ Danila has his own radioshow on National Dance Radio Station - Megapolis FM Radio. His live music radioshow "Feel The House" includes interviews with foreign DJs that headline at a series of parties of the same name at the best Moscow clubs and live talk with listeners. "Feel The House" is among the most popular programmes of the radio station, it may be heard each Friday since 2006 at 89.5 FM. Danila is also a well-known promoter of house & electrinic music since 1998. During the last several years he organized more than 1000 parties with the participation of world leading DJs and musicians.

Danila is a musician with his own performing style and original materials. Specializing at first in classical progressive style, he gradually moved to a sound that includes all the very best and interesting from progressive, tech house and house styles. As a producer Danila realizes himself at the Wazzup? ecords label that was created with his direct participation. It's main concept is to acquaint national club culture fans with new names of the European dancing scene. Thanks to Wazzuprecords! Russian clubbers have discovered for themselves such names as Midnite Sleaze, Belocca, Shagin. In the near future the label plans to release records of about a dozen of other not less interesting artists, including Muzikjunki, Kuka & Carreas, Pirupa and others...
