Award winning producer and artist, businessman, career culture hacker and filmmaker Vince Lawrences and is one of the leading innovators of house music and is widely recognized one of the authors of "On and On", the first recording officially designated "house music" Vince worked alongside Jesse Saunders in the initial creation of Jes Say Records, the first true house music record label, even going so far as to design its logo by hand, just as he did for Dance Mania Records and then Trax Records, the longest living house music label in the world. Vince's production company/remix team Slang MusicGroup has received numerous gold and platinum awards for their musical endeavors over the years. He co-wrote "Funk U Up," which became the first House track to ever make it onto the Billboard charts and "Love Can't Turn Around", featuring Daryl Pandy which reached #10 in the UK Singles Chart in 1986, and is cited as the track that began the house music revolution in the UK
